Test Equipment Staff Engineer (Package)

What we expect

Requires a strong background in Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering.Hands-on experience in LED testing processes and machine maintenance.
Responsible for ensuring test equipment performance, product quality and uptime.
Conducts root cause analysis and implements corrective actions for equipment failures in conclusive of preventive maintenance planning.
Collaborates with process, equipment, and quality teams to achieve production targets.
Leads and mentors technicians to build technical skills and job ownership.
Drives continuous improvement initiatives in test and maintenance processes. Knowledge in analyzing OEE and machine eUPH/ Utilization.

Who we are looking for

Bachelor Degree in Mechatronic/ Mechanical/ Electronic.
Experience in high-volume manufacturing or semiconductor industry, preferably in LED or electronics-related fields. Exposure to cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement environments is an added advantage.
Minimum 3 years experience /knowledge in LED testing field and machine maintenance.
Skilled in troubleshooting, being detailed and strong in analysis, systematic 8D problem solving, planning and organizing, skilled in project management and skilled in using Power BI software.
Well verse in English.

Step 1

Job search

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
