Senior Project Manager (d/m/f)

Premstätten, Styria, Austria – ams-OSRAM AG

Your tasks

Lead cross-functional product developments, coordinate project activities
Ability to inspire and motivate project team members
Ensure planned project activities are executed timely to meet the production start schedule,
complying with approved project budget and scope, meeting required quality
Professionally manage requirement change requests, risks, use of tools such as FMEA
Maintain close co-operation with (internal) customers and suppliers during development
Align with Engineering, Marketing and Product Management to meet customer requirements
Timely escalation of issues and risks to Management and take ownership to resolve issues

Who we are looking for

MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering or similar
At least 10 years’ experience in industry, preferably in semiconductor industry
Experience in leading complex multi-disciplinary and multi-site projects
Experience in Configuration Management and change request tracking tools
Experience in automotive development is preferred
Experience in Analog or Digital Design of IC is welcome
Excellent presentation and communication skills, strong organizational skills
Team player/driver
Assertive and entrepreneurial mindset
Proficient in English, written and verbal

Step 1

Job search

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
