Line Steering Specialist Staff Engineer
Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia – OSRAM OS Penang
What we expect
- Control of the relevant logistical KPIs (CT, Holds, FF, etc) for the R&D material and ensure the continues flow.
- Monitor, report and escalate deviations towards the operation and R&D management team.
- Drive the continues optimization of the line flow of R&D lots together with the respective functions.
- Support for new product introduction/Q-Gate projects as logistical expert.
- Initiate and lead projects to improve the transparency and line performance regarding R&D lot flow.
- Regular report of R&D lot logistical performance to the local/global R&D management and operations.
- Interaction with multiple other functions like R&D, IE, PIE, Operations, Engineering, etc.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor Degree and above in Engineering, R&D, Industrial Engineering.
- 3 - 5 years in line steering environment or production experience.
- Experience in High negotiating & persuading skills, Line Steering concepts and theory, Factory Physics, Manufacturing experience.
