Business Development Manager - OEM / Aftermarket (d/m/f)

What we expect

Acquisition of new customers in the OEM & AFTM sectors across Europe
Conducting market analyses, generating ideas, evaluating new technologies, suppliers, markets, and current/future market and customer requirements
Identifying new business opportunities and customer potential
Independent planning and execution of customer-specific OEM/OES/AFTM projects, considering automotive and customer requirements
Close collaboration with internal and external customers, including preparation of quotations and contract documents
Defining and implementing tools and measures to support organizational targets, as well as developing suitable sales strategies and new sales approaches
Acting as the central point of contact for customers, sales, purchasing, marketing, supply chain, packaging department, and other departments

Who we are looking for

Successfully completed university degree (Master’s or Diploma) in a scientific, economic, or technical field, with several years of professional experience in the LED business (fixtures)
Strong technical and electronic understanding
Solid knowledge of project business and sales processes
High level of initiative, flexibility, and sense of responsibility
Team player with an independent working style and excellent communication skills
Fluent English, German is an advantage
Willingness to travel internationally (~50%)

Step 1

Job search

You haven't found the right position yet and would like to send us your unsolicited application? - Simply create your candidate profile in our applicant portal. Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
