Senior Engineer (ServiceNow Developer)

What we expect

1. Application Development
- Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, modules, and integrations.
- Customize ServiceNow workflows to meet business requirements using scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, etc.).
- Develop automation or integrations with ServiceNow platform.

2. System Administration
- Manage ServiceNow system configurations and updates.
- Monitor platform health and resolve performance issues.

3. Stakeholder Collaboration and drive Continuous improvement
- Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ITSM, CMDB, CSM, Knowledge, etc.
- Identify and implement opportunities for system optimization and automation.
- Stay updated on ServiceNow best practices, new features, and industry trends.

4. Testing, Deployment, Documentation and Training
- Perform unit testing, system integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Ensure seamless deployment of changes in the production environment.
- Create and maintain technical and process documentation.
- Provide training and support to end-users and administrators.

Who we are looking for

Minimum Bachelor in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field of study.
Minimum of 2–5 years of experience as a ServiceNow Developer or in a similar role.
Experience in roll out of CMDB, ServiceNow automation and service portal.
Knowledge of IT Service Management, such as ITIL processes and frameworks.
Software development project management with Agile methodologies & strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Programming in ServiceNow and Web Technologies

- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and modules.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow-specific scripting languages (e.g., GlideScript).
- Experience with ServiceNow Studio, Flow Designer, and Integration Hub.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON, and XML for integrations.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work collaboratively in global environment.

Step 1

Job search

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
