Quality Engineer - Process Improvement

What we expect
- Responsible for coordination with value stream teams to quantify, identify, and eliminate sources for quality defects
- Implement processes improvements to positively impact process efficiency and reduce non-conforming costs
- Lead and create 8D investigation reports based on customer feedback
- Support compliance with ISO/IATF 16949 by supporting and improving the current QMS. Audit processes and provide feedback and follow-up
- Participate in Kaizen, Six Sigma and other Quality events to support continuous improvement activities
Who we are looking for
- Project Management and Organization Skills
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and applications
- Ability to complete multiple tasks effectively, including work prioritization and program management to specifications, schedules and budgets in a result-oriented environment
- Must have excellent communication skills to explain product design and related testing to all levels and technical abilities
- Prefered Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or relevant field
- Competency in applied statistical methods (Six Sigma), Data analytics, Lean techniques preferred
- Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint with presentation skills
