What we expect

Main purpose of the role: Join our dynamic team and take the lead in formulating and delivering the global Automotive Care & Equipment “ACE” product pipeline, ensuring alignment with our overall company strategy. Your expertise will be crucial in supporting sales across key ELAMEA countries, where you'll help formulate and execute effective channel and customer plans.
As a vital contributor to our marketing strategy for the ACE product segment, you'll drive growth and innovation in these key regions. Additionally, you'll have the opportunity to create and evolve PLM processes, supporting the long-term planning (LTP) for the ACE product line.

Tasks and responsibilities:

  • Responsible for formulation & delivery of the ELAMEA ACE product strategy, including conducting market analysis, competitor benchmarking and customer research to identify opportunities, market gaps and evolving customer needs.
  • Accountable for product life-cycle management, considering; sales, customer demand, stock turn & cost to hold the IC.
  • Launch products which are intrinsically linked to the consumer need and market conditions (of key launch countries) taking into account: existing competition, economic conditions, target costs & profitability (customer & OSRAM).
  • Lead & develop the global ACE PLM team function. Accountable for appropriate PLM structure to support LTP.
  • Build strong stories for product launches which optimize the performance of said launch. Work with appropriate teams to ensure these marketing strategies are executed in target countries inline with your / the teams product vision.
  • Responsible for the global PLM capacity planning & requirements for sign off on key projects & capacity decisions.
  • Accountable for the global NPD (New Product Development) processes & governance to achieve LTP plan. Including regular review and assessment of existing process and opportunities to generate efficiencies.
  • Accountable for the global compliance for all ACE portfolio, including: management of 3rd parties, budget maintenance and setting, SQM and other internal stakeholder management.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree which is relevant to the role is preferrable but not essential. Candidates with strong experience with no degree will be considered.
  • Experience in developing marketing strategies considering both a products position in its market place relative to the competition & the target consumer.
  • Change management – skilled in leading teams through change / transformation.
  • Experience of working with Far East suppliers / teams is essential.
  • Technical aptitude – ability to understand technical products and work effectively with engineering and design teams.
  • Financial acumen – strong understanding of the financial metrics which are applied to product profitability and pricing strategies.
  • Customer back approach – experience in using existing portfolio to propose solutions for customers in support of the sales team. Also experienced in creating products / solutions collaboratively with the customer.
  • Required to be highly mobile with frequent travel overseas.
