Your tasks
Shape the Future of Display, Connectivity and Compute Systems
Join our Systems Engineering team and turn breakthrough semiconductor technologies into integrated products that make a visible impact. In this key role, you will help shape intelligent micro-LED display solutions, next-generation data communication and optical compute systems. You will work across disciplines, connect ideas from concept to architecture, and help bring ambitious products to life built around advanced emitters and detectors.
- Driving the development of intelligent micro-LED display solutions, next-generation data communication systems, and optical computing technologies through system architecture, modelling, and design innovation.
- Leading system-level thinking from early concept through design evaluation, combining architecture, modelling, and technical expertise to create robust and scalable solutions.
- Evaluation of innovative technology concepts and contribution to feasibility studies and system design decisions.
- Development and application of system-level models and simulations (MATLAB, Python, C++) to optimize product performance.
- Collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams to define robust and scalable system architectures.
- Creation and maintenance of system and subsystem specifications throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Translation of advanced semiconductor and photonics technologies into integrated products and solutions.
Who we are looking for
- Master's or Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Proven experience in Systems Engineering within the semiconductor, photonics, or electronics industry.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to solve complex technical challenges.
- Practical experience with tools and programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, C++, Verilog, and/or Cadence.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional and international environments.
*Experience in one or more of the following areas would be considered a strong advantage:
- Optical communication systems, ideally fiber-optic communication systems;
- Photonics technologies, including LEDs, VCSELs, Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs), and photodetectors;
- Display systems and signal processing for AR/VR applications;
- Optical computing concepts and architectures;
- ASIC design, including analog and/or digital circuit design;
- Stakeholder management and communication within complex cross-functional projects;
- Direct customer interaction, ideally with Tier 1 customers.
