Molding Process Senior/Staff Engineer

What we expect
- Establish and fine-tune molding parameters to maximize yield, improve product quality, and minimize equipment downtime
- Troubleshoot molding issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive continuous improvement through innovative solutions
- Perform risk assessments and make disposition decisions for abnormal or on-hold lots prior to shipment
- Lead corrective/preventive actions for defects or audit findings, ensuring timely closure and compliance with quality standards
- Maintain accurate FMEA, control plans, and work instructions; implement effective process controls and monitoring systems
- Work closely with production, product, quality, and equipment teams to support operational goals and ensure smooth production flow
- Provide training to operators and technicians, and actively support internal and customer audits
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Materials, or related field)
- Minimum 4-5 years of experience in semiconductor molding or related back-end processes
- Knowledge of molding processes, materials, and equipment operation
- Experiences with Fico/Towa machine will be an advantage
- Continuous improvement mindset and high motivation towards challenges
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, able to lead root cause analysis and implement effective solutions
- Familiar with process control tools and techniques (e.g., 8D, DOE, Minitab, etc)
- Experience with systems such as SPC, SPACE, FMEA, or equivalent is an advantage
- Fluent in Malay and English language
- Good written and verbal communication skills, able to work effectively in cross-functional teams
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
