Internal Auditor (d/​m/​f)

Your tasks

  • Plan, execute and lead internal audits (preparation, fieldwork, report-writing, follow‑up) across a broad range of audit topics for all affiliated companies and units of the ams OSRAM Group, applying a risk-based approach (process audits, entity audits, ad hoc audits etc.)
  • Assess internal control weaknesses and inefficiencies of operations, identify risks in internal processes and procedures
  • Independently develop audit work programs from scratch for diverse audit topics
  • Evaluate and verify the accuracy of financial statements and management report documents
  • Define and assign work packages to team members, coordinate and supervise team members, independently execute and document individual audit steps and identify weak points
  • Elaborate audit results, align those and corresponding audit measures with the responsible parties and prepare an audit report tailored to the respective addressees
  • Support and consult the auditee regarding the implementation of action items during the follow-up
  • Monitor remediation to closure and report status

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Engineering, IT or comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in one of the following business areas: Internal Audit, External Audit, Sales, Finance, Operations, IT
  • Proven working experience as Auditor or Consultant (Big 4 preferred)
  • Substantial understanding of a variety of business core and support processes for companies in a manufacturing environment
  • Conceptual and excellent analytical skills combined with good problem solving thinking
  • High attention to detail and sound independent judgement
  • Advanced MS Office skills (esp. Excel, PowerPoint) and basic SAP knowledge are essential
  • Excellent command of oral and written business English

Salary package (gross):
From 2.900 EUR/month, depending on relevant experience and other skills according to the requirements of the given position

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1

Job search

You have found your desired position on our job board? On this page you will find a link at the end of the position description that will take you to our applicant portal. You haven't found the right position yet and would like to send us your unsolicited application? - Simply create your candidate profile in our applicant portal. We will be happy to inform you about jobs that match your profile via our "Job Alert". Would you like to check the current status of your application? Then you can track it directly in your candidate profile under "Job applications". Our goal is to provide you with a great experience and maximum transparency in our application process.

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
