What we expect

Mission of Job Role：

Mechanical Desing for LED based product / support ODM merchandising for relevant products

Plan, design, and conduct cost effective products according to established scientific methods and international standards, and improve, generate new products, components, equipment, systems, and testing procedures.

Estimate the costs, resources, and time required to conduct a RD project and monitor performance to ensure these targets are met while adopting the relevant procedures of the ams OSRAM Process House

Perform calculations, component and product specifications in collaboration with relevant departments, and other technical documentation so that prototype designs can be manufactured and assembled. Analyze test results and prepare detailed reports with recommendations and conclusions

Develop and maintain technical expertise on advances and innovations in research and science.

Ensure that patent situation of new product development is checked and that patents are applied for innovative results.

Conduct optic part design for optimum cost and performance

Support design and construction of tools for specific production parts, assist to optimize process design

Support production in case of quality or part delivery problems

Support production in product introduction / test strategy and instruction / selection of equipments.

Who we are looking for

Bachelor or above of engineering, material, physics or relevant field.

Min.5 years experience on lighting product design. Automotive experience is a plus.

Process / Production know how for lighting products.

Familiar with Mechanical design, Material (matal, plastic, glass) design, Thernal design

Familiar with Drawing software Solidworks, CAD, DIALUX, etc;

Technical know how for lighting products, especially in LED headlamps, luminaire or bulbs

Good at read and write in English

Step 2

Online application

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Onboarding
