Senior Specialist, FI Local Finance & Accounting

What we expect
- Manage the passing of all bills in the Tally system and maintain accurate records for tax and audit purposes.
- Ensure timely payments to vendors and employees, including the prompt deposit of taxes and filing of tax returns.
- Respond to notices from government departments and prepare necessary documentation as required.
- Assist with various tax issues, preparing responses for direct and indirect tax cases on a timely basis.
- Handle all matters related to STPI (Software Technology Parks of India) export licenses and compliance.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with local laws and regulations.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com), Chartered Accountant (CA) certification, or an MBA from a reputable institution.
- Familiarity with local financial regulations, compliance requirements, and accounting practices relevant to the industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively, ensuring timely closure of monthly and annual accounts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective coordination with various government departments and internal stakeholders.
- Resilient under pressure and able to meet strict deadlines
