Senior Engineer, RD Test Development

What we expect

Assume Project Leader for delivering mid/high complex process and equipment solutions for assigned R&D products working independently for the most parts.
Provide technical inputs in 2nd source/alternative vendor decisions demonstrating ability to understand machine concepts and matching to needs.
Assume Consultant/ Project Leader for supporting engineering or production on chronic issue and continuous improvement project.
Other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.

Who we are looking for

Diploma or above in Mechanical or Automation Engineering related Science and Engineering major
Semiconductor backend testing fieldMinimum 2 years working experience in Semiconductor Test Handler (e.g. turret, gravity, pick & place, etc.) and Device Process Control Flow; fresh graduated master with high capability is acceptable
Experience in Project Management (time and resource allocation management), covering equipment selection, setup and buyoff (release to production)
Able to Setup Test Handler independently after training provided. Systematic Problem Solving Methodology, e.g. 6-Sigma Yellow Belt, 8D, Why-why, etc.
IT skills: Microsoft Office 365. English Level: Skilled in Literacy, Listening and Speaking

Step 1

Job search

You have found your desired position on our job board? On this page you will find a link at the end of the position description that will take you to our applicant portal. Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
