We have the following opening available for a 2nd shift Production Supervisor at our Hillsboro, NH Automotive Lighting facility, the only automotive lighting manufacturing location in NAFTA.

Provide direct supervision in our department on 2nd shift (2:45 pm to 11:15 pm)
Collaborate closely with production personnel, managers, supervisors and engineers across all 3 shifts to address concerns, resolve issues, and achieve key performance metrics
Responsible for ensuring daily targets are met using proven managerial techniques
Accountable for monitoring and tracking all daily production indicators

Who we are looking for

Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical discipline desirable
Minimum of 5+ years of manufacturing supervisory experience with a proven track record of success in a similar production environment is a must
Strong decision-making skills, effective time management, and the ability to prioritize tasks are essential qualities for this position
Excellent interpersonal, communication and people development skills are essential for this position
Strong computer skills with Proficiency using Ms Word, Excel

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
