Internship - Information Security (m/f/d)

What we expect
- Assist in the development and enforcement of information security policies and procedures.
- Participate in the analysis and response to security incidents, including initial investigation, documentation, and remediation.
- Support the team in managing security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and encryption technologies.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and participate in penetration testing activities to identify security weaknesses and recommend mitigation strategies.
- Assist in security awareness training for employees, helping to develop educational materials and presentations.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure security best practices are integrated into all facets of the company's operations.
- Participate in the evaluation of new security technologies and trends.
Who we are looking for
- Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a degree program (HTL, TU, FH, university etc.) in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of information security principles, including areas such as network security, application security, and incident response.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux) and network protocols.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication in German and English, as well as teamwork abilities.
- Eager to learn and stay updated with the latest in information security and technology.
