Maintenance Engineer Deposition (d/m/f)

What we expect

Responsibility for and development of expertise in the assigned production equipment (Deposition)
Configuration and installation of new equipment
Repair, maintenance, modifications, and continuous monitoring of the equipment, including systematic equipment analysis
Commissioning and requalification of equipment in collaboration with the process engineer
Independently resolving issues as part of on-call service
Leading and participating in improvement projects for optimization/modification of existing systems
Acting as a liaison with equipment manufacturers and external service technicians
Collaboration with internal teams (Production, Engineering, Facility)
Creation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of maintenance plans and procedures
Documentation of results / preparation of work instructions, training materials, and procedures
Planning and conducting training sessions
Spare parts management

Who we are looking for

Completed technical education (higher technical school/technical college or vocational education) with several years of technical experience
Experience in the fields of engineering, mechatronics, electronics or electrical engineering
Mechanical and electrical troubleshooting capability
Takes over responsibility, works independently and makes decisions
Willingness to learn and problem-solving skills
Flexible in terms of changes (including coverage or priorities)
On-call duty (one weekend/month)
Team player and communicates proactively
Apply systematic methods in problem solving (QRQC)
Fluent in German and good English skills

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
