What we expect
- Strategic Planning: Continuously assess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions. Work hand in hand with the segment head and her team in the continuous revision and execution of the segment's strategic plan, aligning it with overall company goals and objectives
- Budget Process: Provide strategic input and support during the annual budgeting process, working closely with finance and operational teams to allocate resources effectively and maximize ROI
- Project Leadership: Drive strategic projects from conception to implementation, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and timelines. Break down complex problems into actionable steps, and assemble and lead cross-functional teams to achieve desired outcomes
- Executive Communication: Effectively communicate strategic initiatives, progress, and outcomes to executive leadership and key stakeholders. Present findings, recommendations, and updates in a clear and compelling manner, influencing decision-making at the highest levels
- Performance Monitoring: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the success of strategic initiatives. Monitor performance against targets, identify areas for improvement, and take proactive measures to address challenges
- Collaboration: Collaborate closely with other functional leaders across the organization to drive alignment and synergies. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to foster collaboration and support strategic objectives
Who we are looking for
- Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in strategic roles, ideally with a consulting background, coupled with operational expertise within the industrial goods sector
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with experience communicating with executive-level stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve goals and drive results
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in both English and German is a must
