Head of Sales Excellence (d/m/f)

What we expect
- Implementation of demand planning processes in sales as a key input variable for supply chain management and planning as well as subsequent capacity planning of AM plants. Derivation of lessons learned and process improvements from piloting for the targeted introduction of a new business planning tool (SAP IBP) in a phased rollout: ELAMEA Region.
- Establishment of a competent team under the leadership of Head of Sales Excellence is necessary for this. This role and the team is also responsible for coordination, analysis and preparation of monthly demand planning
- Price Management: Develop and manage pricing strategies to optimize profitability and market competitiveness. Monitor market conditions, competitor pricing, and customer feedback to adjust pricing strategies as needed.
- Oversee and manage product allocation processes to ensure optimal inventory levels and timely delivery. Analyze and report on allocation performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Responsibility for independent preparation of all data and inputs for the forecast and budget process with regard to actuals, forecast, budget and underlying assumptions, in-depth analysis in the event of changes in driver variables / input variables
- Commercial and financial review of business cases (business ideas, project plans, specific customer plans/incentive programs, etc.) as a basis for decision-making by business unit managers (e.g. with regard to pricing, contractual conditions, inherent risks and risk avoidance strategies)
- Advising Head of Sales AM ELAMEA through continuous financial analysis, controlling, scenario planning, business modeling with a focus on return on investment / improvement of profitability
- Responsibility for regular risk analysis and assessment of business transactions especially for future growth areas and ad-hoc reporting to Head of Region and Head of Sales on insights
Who we are looking for
- Successfully completed Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, sales operations, or related roles
- Proven experience in demand forecasting, pricing strategy, and supply chain management
- Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully managing complex projects
- Several years of professional, cross-functional management (e.g. in a project) required; disciplinary management experience is desired
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with sales and forecasting Software
- Fluent English is required; Business German is advantageous
Minimum salary of 36.000 EUR to 40.000 EUR annual gross fix package, plus variable salary related to sales success.
