What we expect
The Advanced Optical Sensors business provides market-leading sensor solutions that improve the human experience and well-being by sensing types of light both visible and invisible to the human eye. Key AOS applications include ambient light and proximity sensors; 1D Time-of-Flight, spectral sensors, biosensors, as well as active noise cancelation (ANC).
Your new responsibilities:
- PCB soldering and assembly
- Assist characterization efforts in data collection and analysis across PVT
- Be able to work in a fast-paced environment to meet critical schedule milestones
- Work with cross-functional teams (design, ATE, systems engineering, etc.) to ensure milestones completion and assist in resolving customer-related issues
- Assist post-silicon debug efforts to find root cause of issues using lab instruments (i.e. oscilloscope, function generator, smu, etc.)
Who we are looking for
- Must be working towards a Bachelors’ and/or Masters’ degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related field
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Self-organized and the ability to multitask
- Familiarity with programming and/or scripting languages (Python, Perl, C/C++, etc.) would be a plus
- Working knowledge of data analysis tools (i.e. Spotfire) would be a plus
