Functional Safety Manager (d/​m/​f)

What we expect

  • Manage and improve functional safety processes and procedures in accordance with ISO 26262
  • Lead and coordinate safety assessments and audits with both internal and external auditors
  • Define safety goals, safety requirements, and safety concepts for IC design ensuring all Safety requirements are met and their traceability throughout the development lifecycle
  • Conduct safety analysis including FMEA, FMEDA, FTA and HARA
  • Supervise safety verification and validation activities and develop and maintain safety plans, safety case reports, and other safety-related documentation
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product definition and system solution engineering to define and integrate safety requirements, as well as with design, verification and test teams to secure their proper implementation and verification
  • Provide guidance and training on functional safety standards and practices to the engineering team
  • Act as the main point of contact for functional safety-related matters with customers, suppliers, and certification bodies

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in electronic engineering, computer engineering, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years in functional safety management in concepts and methodologies in the semiconductor industry and safety analysis techniques (FMEA, FMEDA, FTA, HARA)
  • Functional Safety Certification (e.g., TÜV Functional Safety Engineer)
  • Experience in IC development and with a structured requirements management system such as (i.e. Codebeamer / DOORS / Jira)
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willing to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
