EHS specialist (d/m/f)

What we expect
- Taking over all activities in the Environment, Health and Safety department at the Regensburg site with a focus on occupational health and safety issues and the handling of incidents and emergencies
- Advice and support for managers in the preparation of risk assessments, operating instructions and training documents
- Examination of applications for hazardous substance approvals
- Taking measurements and evaluations and developing protective measures, e.g. for noise or activities involving hazardous substances
- Participation in the processing of environmental law issues
- Preparation, organization and monitoring of regular inspections of individual areas and the site as well as internal and external occupational safety, environmental and energy management audits in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001/45001/50001
- Regular reporting to Director EHSS Regensburg, site management and management of ams-OSRAM International GmbH
- Close cooperation and constant professional exchange with the EHSS team and the company medical service as well as with other divisions and company locations; constructive cooperation with the works council
- Independently organizing and attending legally required training courses for yourself and supporting training courses for employees, visitors, service providers and external companies
Who we are looking for
- Erfolgreich abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium gerne Absolvent*in einer einschlägigen sicherheitsrelevanten Studienrichtung mit Praktika oder eine Meister- bzw. Technikerausbildung mit einigen Jahren Berufsausbildung
- Sofern die Ausbildung als Fachkraft für Arbeitssicherheit nicht vorhanden ist, die Bereitschaft, diese berufsbegleitende Ausbildung in Ausbildungsstätten der BGETEM zeitnah während der Arbeitszeit zu absolvieren (Kostenübernahme durch BGETEM)
- Engagement und aktive Mitarbeit im noch zu installierenden EHS-Bereitschaftssystem als Bestandteil des Notfallmanagements
- Teamfähigkeit, Empathie, strukturiere Arbeitsweise mit hoher Belastbarkeit und der Fähigkeit, auf spontane Ereignisse angemessen zu reagieren
- Selbstsicheres Auftreten verbunden mit einer ausgeprägten Kommunikationsfähigkeit, vor allem im Austausch mit Behördenvertreter*innen und der Berufsgenossenschaft
- Sehr gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift, insbesondere auch ein Grundverständnis für die sog. Verwaltungssprache sowie gute Englischkenntnisse
