Compensation & Benefits Senior Staff Specialist

What we expect

Develop and implement competitive compensation and benefits strategies, programs, and policies that align with organizational goals and market standards.
Conduct market intelligence through benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitiveness within industry standards. Conduct job evaluations to assess job positions and appropriate compensation levels.
Partner with Corporate HR Compensation and Benefits (C&B) to implement global frameworks, programs, and processes in Malaysia.
Partner with Global Shared Services to ensure the administration of various benefits programs and processes are executed according to work instructions. Provide guidance and support to the Country Human Resources Business Partner on compensation and benefits-related topics.
Ensure compensation and benefits practices comply with applicable laws, regulations, and customer requirements.
Analyze data related to compensation and benefits and prepare reports to track program effectiveness.
Develop and update compensation and benefits policies and procedures.
Support and manage inbound and outbound employee delegation processes.
Support the performance management process. Collaborate with Corporate HR C&B to support the annual salary review process, including budget proposals.
Regularly review salary structures and pay bands to ensure market competitiveness.

Who we are looking for

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in compensation and benefits strategies and administration.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in HRIS and other relevant software.
Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
Strong networking within the C&B community among multinational companies in the Northern region.
Experience in a similar industry or company size is an added advantage.

Step 1

Job search

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
