What we expect

Procurement of semiconductor production equipment (frontend metrology & backend) incl. service and spare parts for the Regensburg and Premstätten sites
Contact person for suppliers with small and medium purchasing volumes (e.g. independent execution of price negotiations, escalation management, negotiation of service contracts, responsibility for cost savings)
Collaboration with the global Category Managers at the Asian backend locations and implementation of category strategies in EMEA
Collaboration with the global Category Managers for Frontend Metrology at the Regensburg and Premstätten sites
Processing orders in SAP and Ariba
Data analysis, e.g. to identify saving potential
Market research, e.g. as part of 2nd sourcing for spare parts
Contact person for internal stakeholders (R&D, production and so on)

Who we are looking for

Completed technical/economic university degree or a comparable qualification
At least 3 years of professional experience in procurement, ideally in a manufacturing industry and in the field of Capex & MRO
User knowledge of SAP MM and Ariba
Good MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Business acumen and negotiation skills
Communication and assertiveness skills
Independent and proactive workstyle
Willingness for occasional business trips (approx. 15%)
Good knowledge of German and English

Monthly salary of 2.300€ gross fix package, plus yearly bonus related to success.

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1

Job search

You have found your desired position on our job board? On this page you will find a link at the end of the position description that will take you to our applicant portal. You haven't found the right position yet and would like to send us your unsolicited application? - Simply create your candidate profile in our applicant portal. We will be happy to inform you about jobs that match your profile via our "Job Alert". Would you like to check the current status of your application? Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
