OSRAM is a global leader in automotive lighting solutions, delivering innovative products that enhance automotive industry. Our Middle East Automotive Aftermarket division is expanding, and we’re seeking a dynamic and driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to spearhead growth in our Automotive Care & Equipment (ACE) portfolio.
As the Business Development Manager for Automotive Care & Equipment (ACE), you will play a pivotal role in expanding OSRAM’s market presence across the Middle East and Africa (MEA). Your mission is to drive the growth of our ACE portfolio by building strong relationships with key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and developing long-term partnerships in the Batteries, Tires, and Car Accessories sectors. This role will involve strategizing, steering market initiatives, and executing joint business plans (JBP) with a focus on profitability and customer satisfaction.
- Key Account Management: open, lead, and develop strategic relationships with key accounts in the MEA region, particularly within the automotive aftermarket, focusing on accessories, batteries & tires industry
- Strategic Business Planning: collaborate with key accounts to create and implement Joint Business Plans (JBP) aligned with OSRAM’s brand strategies, driving sales growth and optimizing marketing investments
- New Business Development: identify and secure new business opportunities for the ACE product portfolio across the MEA region. Utilize market insights to penetrate new segments.
- Sales Growth & Marketing Initiatives: execute promotional activities and customer collaborations to boost sales and market share. Perform ROI analysis and optimize promotional plans for key accounts.
- Customer Insight & Strategy: analyze customers’ market, business strategies, and key drivers to tailor OSRAM’s offerings. Conduct benchmarking and gap analysis for potential business opportunities.
- Contract Negotiations: lead contract discussions, offer and tender negotiations with key customers, ensuring favorable terms while fostering long-term relationships
- Performance Reporting: deliver monthly reports on key metrics including turnover, profit, marketing spend, and overall account performance
Who we are looking for
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, specifically within the Automotive Aftermarket industry with a focus on batteries, tires, and car accessories
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management, or a related field
- Strong negotiation skills with proven experience in closing high-value deals and managing tenders
- Demonstrated ability to create win-win solutions and foster collaborative relationships
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken) is essential
