Backend Process Development Staff Engineer

What we expect

To lead cross functional projects related to LED assembly process improvement in FOL (die bond, wirebond) and die sort.
Identify new possibilities and evaluate process technologies to improve yield and quality.
Technical consultancy to Manufacturing eg. ∈ Task Forces
Responsible to take over new disruptive assembly- front of line processes from RD into maturity.
Responsible to create process standards for worldwide Manufacturing.
Accountable for MF in X or Q-projects with respect to new processes equipment; Technical input to RD
Contribution to Process Roadmap and Assembly Design Rules
Involvement in hardware mechanical design for process improvement.

Who we are looking for

Degree/Master in Material Eng/Mechanical Eng/electronics Eng/Physics/Manufacturing Eng
min 5 years of experience in Semicondutor. Experience and knowledge in LED Assembly process equipment technologies in FOL processes (die bond, wirebond) and die sorting.Technical know how in hardware mechanical design is an added advantage.
min 5 years in Process Development/Engineering with good project management .Good Data Analytical and Interpretation skills. Experience knowledge in process material interaction study analysis.
Good industrial knowledge of LED assembly equipment process suppliers
Hands-on experiences in Die Bond (Epoxy or Eutectic), Wirebond, Die sorting, Equipment development.
Statistic Analysis 6 sigma, Problem Solving.

Step 1

Job search

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
