Advanced Product Quality Staff Engineer

What we expect

To ensure New Product/Process/Material are meeting requirement, stable and well integrated into manufacturing line with all quality & reliability issue assessed and addressed; prior release for product launch as well as mass production
Govern and contribute to New Product Quality and Reliability processes.
Responsible for New product Reliability Qualification, Evaluation, Robustness (including Material, Design, Process robustness and Interation study).
Make sound decision & risk estimation from reliability evaluation.
Analyse & interpret FA observation report (provided by FA team), collerate to hypothesis and contribute to root cause identification. Core team member contirbute to problem solving togther with R&D and operation team. Setup Outgoing Quality (OQA) Buyoff and drive team to resolve defective parts detected at OQA. Conduct internal line audit for the new process and assembly line setup. Assess process, technology and system readiness prior mass production.
Review and govern quality detection firewall to prevent escappe to customer (Failure Catalog, Control Plan, OCAP, Work Instruction, Buildsheet). Support new product customer audit preparation, customer audit in manufacturing line and audit findings closure.

Who we are looking for

Bachelor Degree in Science / Engineering.
Minimum 5 years in Quality and Reiability Testing. Experience in Quality of Semiconductor field, Reliability and Failure Analysis.
Being experience in managing new products (NPI), project, FMEA, SPC, Statistical Analysis; Make sound decision & propose solution Reliability Testing, Modeling, Statistical Analysis.
Ability to communicate well in English and in Mandarin if required.

Step 1

Job search

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
