AI Governance and Communication Expert

What we expect

Develop and enforce governance frameworks: Define policies, procedures, and best practices for AI.
Collaborate with legal, compliance, and data science teams to interpret and operationalize AI-related regulations (e.g., EU AI Act, GDPR, CCPA).
Build and deploy governance tools and pipelines that monitor and log model performance, data provenance, audit trails, and decision-making transparency.
Support model documentation (e.g., datasheets, model cards, factsheets) to ensure traceability and accountability, and documentation according to EU AI Act.
Stay current with evolving regulatory, technical, and ethical standards in AI governance.
Drive 3rd party AI solutions evaluation.
Standardization: Ensure consistency in methodologies, tools, and reporting across teams within the company.
Stakeholder Engagement: Maintain regular communication with business units AI experts.

Who we are looking for

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field.
Experience with model auditing, fairness evaluation, explainability techniques, and monitoring tools.
Familiarity with privacy-enhancing technologies and data protection regulations.
Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks; knowledge of governance platforms and tools is a plus.
Knowledge of MLOps and integration with CI/CD pipelines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, Agile Methods (SCRUM, SAFe).
Understanding of cybersecurity and secure model deployment practices.
Experience implementing governance solutions in enterprise environments.
Experience in technical leadership roles & working in an international team.
Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical, legal, and policy teams.

Step 1

Job search

You have found your desired position on our job board? On this page you will find a link at the end of the position description that will take you to our applicant portal. Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
