Deine Aufgaben
- Development of Automotive LED lightsources from planning & designing to series production as well as simulation and design for optical concepts and components in product development
- Elaborate optical product / component design and specification based on optical simulations / tolerance calculations and acquired technical expertise to make sure the product design can be manufactured in series production
- Selection of suitable optical materials / components / LEDs based on specifications, technical feasibility, environmental conditions and product requirements including optimization concerning costs, quality and performance
- Perform, analyze and document product or component tests by developing testing procedures including equipment definition and performing failure analysis with recommendations for problem solving
- Gather customer requirements and market demands from application side generating input for product design in close cooperation with business development
- Assist product go-to-market, providing technical support, material and product knowledge for marketing including technical documentation and application notes to ensure customers fully understand and utilize the products and Support design-in activities, providing technical support, prove of concept by simulations and demonstrations to win project contracts
