- Lead package design meeting customer expectations ie. technical requirements.
- Lead manufacturability for new product introduction.
- Create drawings and validate design concepts to determine the best product.
- Lead technical risk assessment/brainstorming and design simulation of product/design ideas with relevant team members.
- Work with cross functional team to create and test prototype to validate design.
- Liaise closely with Application Engineering team.
- Able to translate application related requirements to product.
- Understand and incorporate LED packaging technology, reliability requirements and design guidelines into product designs.
- Lead investigation and analysis of technical issues and active involvement in implementation of solutions for design improvement.
- Active participation in Team based problem solving efforts. (e.g. Focus Team).
- Consistent in self-development, upgrading overall performance by maintaining organizational knowledge through design guideline, design rules, supplier capability, knowledge management system & actively participating in internal and external knowledge sharing (Technical symposium, trade shows, etc).
- Maintain up to date on current industry trends
