The Process Engineer position is within our Packaging Department team and includes the following primary responsibilities:
- Providing technical support to the automotive lighting packaging lines
- Writing and maintaining work instructions, control plans, process flow, and process failure modes and effects analysis documents
- Performs analysis and root cause investigation into quality concerns, implements corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Drives continuous improvement activities and utilization of LEAN methodologies to improve safety, quality, and productivity
- Training manufacturing personnel as necessary in the use and maintenance of new equipment and processes
- Leading/coordinating activities with cross-functional teams to execute process improvements and quality investigations
- Further develop process control systems to improve the safety, quality, and productivity of packaging lines
- Collaborate with both shop floor staff and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain a supportive presence
