Job Summary:
The Process Engineering Technician plays a crucial role in optimizing and maintaining manufacturing and production processes. They work closely with engineers to ensure operations run efficiently, safely, and in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to engineers to complete projects and meet production goals.
- Process Improvement: Collaborate with engineers and managers to design new manufacturing processes or improve existing ones.
- Documentation: Develop and document standard operating procedures, process flow diagrams, and control plans.
- Data Analysis: Conduct studies to identify bottlenecks and areas of inefficiency in manufacturing processes.
- Quality Control: Analyze data from quality control tests to identify trends and develop solutions to improve process performance.
- Equipment Management: Suggest or implement equipment purchases, modifications, or calibration changes to improve productivity or reduce costs.
- Troubleshooting: Assist in troubleshooting issues.
