IT Senior Engineer (MES)

Deine Aufgaben
- Study, analyse, simplify, design and implement process/operation automation in manufacturing (Industrial 4.0) for OSRAM OS Kulim Manufacturing.
- Research new IT Technology and innovative manufacturing techniques for productivity/quality improvement.
- Document the system design / functional application into specification document and liaise with global development centre for realisation.
- Be driver/ project leader for system implementation in manufacturing to ensure its sustainability and usability.
- User requirement gathering, analysis, design, creation of functional and technical specification, implementation, testing and go-live support.
- Proactively engage with CIM/Production/Product/Process Engineer to resolve any MES technical related issues and continuous improvement.
- Prepare training materials and train business users on MES related system.
- Review application programs to ensure they continue to work as intended and run optimally.
- Patch application to ensure all known bugs are fixed.
- Provide 24*7 Production Support on MES related system.
- Vendor management including issue escalation, follow up and enhancement.
- Strong knowledge in manufacturing and engineering processes.
