IT Senior Engineer (Defect Detection)
Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia – OSRAM OS Penang
What we expect
- Local IT - responsible for Defect Manager: understand business needs, deploy software releases regularly, do trouble shooting, identify gaps and communicate with users.
- Understand business requirements and develop and configure necessary system modifications, perform testing and document results.
- Handle emergency requests or calls with highest dedication. Proactively identify and propose system enhancements. Provide consulting services on both new features and existing solutions.
- Close collaboration with IT team and external software vendor, bring in own ideas and document accordingly.
- Familiar with Jira and Confluence.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor/Master or above in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT or equivalent.
- Min 3 years of experience in semiconductor industry experience, Defect Management System, Requirements Engineering, Linux, SQL, Windows.
- Need to be highly motivated to take initiative, assume ownership of applications and projects.
- Good English is mandatory
