Your tasks

Position Summary

  • The Human Resources Business Partner oversees all aspects of human resources practices and processes within the organization. They play a key role in developing HR strategies within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Aligns with the business goals and works in partnership with the business leadership team to implement best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with senior management to understand business goals and develop HR strategies to support them.
  • Policy Development: Analyze and revise local HR policies to ensure they align with business needs and comply with legal requirements.
  • Employee Relations: Foster strong relationships between employees and management, addressing any issues that arise. Work with global HR partners to ensure global processes are enforced and understood by employees and local management.
  • Talent Management: Assist in the recruitment of the non-exempt, hourly workforce selection, and onboarding processes to ensure the right talent is brought into the organization.
  • Performance Management: Develop and implement performance management systems for the non-exempt, hourly workforce to ensure employees meet business objectives.
  • Training and Development: Identify training needs and create development programs for the non-exempt, hourly workforce to enhance employee skills and career growth.
  • HR Metrics: Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to management.
  • Compliance: Ensure all HR practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

Additional Duties

  • Organizing and leading meetings with HR and executive team members.
  • Staying updated on HR trends and best practices (including A.I.).
  • Briefing HR recruiters about staffing needs and providing feedback on hiring processes.

Education and Experience

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 7 years of progressive experience in HR
  • Skills: Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the organization.

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1

Job search

You have found your desired position on our job board? On this page you will find a link at the end of the position description that will take you to our applicant portal. You haven't found the right position yet and would like to send us your unsolicited application? - Simply create your candidate profile in our applicant portal. We will be happy to inform you about jobs that match your profile via our "Job Alert". Would you like to check the current status of your application? Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
