Epitaxy Equipment Senior Technician

Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia – OSRAM OS Penang

Your tasks

  • Responsible for the performance of Analytic & Metrology tools such as photo luminescence, Prober, Candela, XRD and other associated support tools in fab/fabrication.
  • Performing machine schedule maintenance activities in clean room and sub facility with closure SAP PM timely without any safety and quality issue.
  • Sustain the running of the equipment, daily monitoring of all machine & process parameters and addressing line operation issues, ensure the uptime of the equipment with establish and implement preventive maintenance.Perform troubleshooting of tool software and hardware part with application of measurement systems, daily SPC buyoff, also need to assist engineer's tasks in manufacturing and also development environment.
  • Transfer and start-up of new equipment, set-up procedure, hook-up, buy-off and qualification of new equipment together with process engineer as team, ensure processes and equipment are compliance to EHS policy. Support and perform continuous improvement project to identify equipment development potential, and support development activities together with engineers.
  • Maintain good 5S, maintenance work quality and safety, carrying out all task compliance to EHS and safety regulations with high sensitivity on safety requirement.

Who we are looking for

  • Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in Analytic & Metrology equipment, in-depth knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, vacuum, robot handling, sensor and laser working principles.
  • Ability to perform mini hardware implementation project to apply hardware standardization and tool matching.

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1

Job search

You have found your desired position on our job board? On this page you will find a link at the end of the position description that will take you to our applicant portal. You haven't found the right position yet and would like to send us your unsolicited application? - Simply create your candidate profile in our applicant portal. Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Onboarding
