Specialist, Supply Chain (Systems & Processes)

Your tasks

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and requirements for reporting and automation.
  • Analyze Supply Chain Models and business processes in an end-to-end-perspective.
  • Drive for continuous improvements and support changing environment, inclusive of system integrations activities.
  • Coordinate Change Request for enhancement; drive/support unit testing/integration testing/user acceptance testing.
  • Interface with IT on enhancement and change request to fulfill supply chain management (SCM) and other related business process requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve errors/issues reported and provide business consulting to users.
  • Documentation of all related business processes (SIPOC, RACI & etc). Actively support Knowledge Management, perform training to end users where applicable.
  • Drive project management (PJM) and execution with vast leadership skill.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, reporting, business intelligence, or Power BI development.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling and data warehousing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Supply Chain process experiences in multi-site production companies with focus on automation and standardization will be an added advantage.
  • Fundamental experiences in use of methods like LEAN / Six Sigma / Scrum / Agile Project Management Value Stream oriented thinking and acting.
  • Good Project management skills with vast leadership skills to achieve department's & organization's goal.
  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel, SQL macro and Microsoft Power BI, Proficiency in DAX and Power Query, Advanced knowledge in SAP ERP will be an added advantage & LEAN / Six Sigma / Scrum / Agile Project Management.
  • Good communication in English, Mandarin & BM.

From receiving your documents to acceptance: the application process

Step 1

Job search

You have found your desired position on our job board? On this page you will find a link at the end of the position description that will take you to our applicant portal. You haven't found the right position yet and would like to send us your unsolicited application? - Simply create your candidate profile in our applicant portal. We will be happy to inform you about jobs that match your profile via our "Job Alert". Would you like to check the current status of your application? Then you can track it directly in your candidate profile under "Job applications". Our goal is to provide you with a great experience and maximum transparency in our application process.

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Step 3

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
