What we expect

Requirement analysis as well as clarify key issues and strategies with appropriate stakeholders
Creation and design of system and application concepts
Development (Detail analysis, implementation, test and documentation) of software solutions
Adopt and enhance existing software solutions and their interfaces in regards of changed requirements
Support colleagues and key user during problem analysis
Project management and coordination of other developers
Enhance our internal tools, services and methodology
Be responsible for software, which dictates the success of production

Who we are looking for

Successfully completed bachelor's/master's degree in computer engineering or similar
Experience as Software Developer
Experience with PL/SQL, Java, SQL
Great understanding of relational database systems (preferred Oracle RDBMS)
Experience in the following areas is also beneficial: Oracle APEX, HTML5 (JavaScript, CSS), XML, XLST, Web Services (SOAP, REST), Python, Docker, Container development
Strong written verbal communication skills in English

Step 1

Job search

You have found your desired position on our job board? On this page you will find a link at the end of the position description that will take you to our applicant portal. You haven't found the right position yet and would like to send us your unsolicited application? - Simply create your candidate profile in our applicant portal. We will be happy to inform you about jobs that match your profile via our "Job Alert".

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
