Production Manager - Electronics

What we expect
- The role is required to develop and optimise our manufacturing operations in order to support ambitious growth and strategic product development plans
- The Production Manager will be responsible for providing leadership and management of Ring Carnations production team, overseeing all manufacturing and routine-test activities to ensure quality products are produced efficiently in line with both business revenue/margin expectations and customer delivery, service, and quality expectations
- To achieve this, you must be conversant with ERP and other IT software to conduct analysis to support accurate capacity/demand plans and efficient production schedules for the team
- You should be confident in proactively engaging with other departments (procurement, engineering, quality) to streamline and ensure an uninterrupted flow of production, with timely and accurate despatch through customer services
- As a member of the Ring management team, you will help develop business and departmental strategy, deploying the strategic plan operationally. You will monitor and manage results/success against productivity and quality KPI and OKRs - championing safety, quality, and continuous improvement within the department and wider business
Who we are looking for
Essential:
- NVQ Level 4 or Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or an Electrical/Electronic related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a production management/manufacturing team leadership role
- Strong understanding of production processes, supply chain management, and quality control
- Proficient in use of ERP and other IT software and tools to support data-driven planning and accurate reporting
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills
Desirable:
- Experience in power management and control systems
- Experience in PCB and electronics manufacturing
- Experience in the automotive and/or emergency vehicle industry
- IOSH/NEBOSH certification
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma manufacturing principles
- Familiarity with product development and testing processes

Competitive Salary: Range is £40k to £50k
