Product Marketing Engineer (d/m/f)

What we expect

You work in product marketing in the area of automotive exterior signalling with the goal of assuming business responsibility including profit loss responsibility for the assigned focus applications and product families
You support the development and optimisation of portfolio and product strategies in line with business strategies, market and application requirements
You support the creation of business cases for new products with the aim to create them independently
You will gradually take responsibility for go-to-market activities and for training the sales organisation
You will support design-in / design-win activities at customer sites in cooperation with the sales organisation (technical commercial)
In order to achieve the sales targets, you will take over the funnel evaluation and the elaboration / identification of improvements
The goal is to gradually take over the sales interface and price responsibility for the assigned product groups

Who we are looking for

Successfully completed studies in business administration (preferably technical marketing), electrical engineering, physics or a comparable course of study
Initial professional experience in product marketing, product management, technical marketing or sales in the LED environment from the most recent past desirable
Basic experience with optoelectronic components and systems as well as basic technical understanding is an advantage
Market understanding and customer orientation
Initiative and an entrepreneurial mindset
Business fluent in English
Willingness to travel (about 15 %)

Step 1

Job search

Step 2

Online application

You simply register on our applicant portal and receive access data with which you log in. In the application form, you only have to fill out a few fields and can upload important documents such as cover letter, resume or certificates. This usually takes 5 - 10 minutes. As soon as your application has been successfully saved in our applicant portal, you will automatically receive a confirmation of receipt. The individual review of your documents by HR and the department usually takes two to four weeks.

Phone interview

If your profile is suitable for the advertised position, we will invite you to a telephone interview.

Step 4

First personal interview

You have aroused our interest! Now we would like to get to know you personally and invite you to a first interview. In this interview, you will talk to your potential manager and the recruiter about your opportunities at ams OSRAM and your skills and professional experience. The time between the telephone interview and the first personal interview is usually one to two weeks.

Step 5

Second personal interview

If the first interview goes well for you and for us, you are on the shortlist. It is very likely that we will invite you to a further interview: Often there is a need for further clarification after the first interview, in terms of content or organization, which we can then discuss. The time span between the first and the second personal interview is usually two weeks.

Step 6

Starting out with us

We have reached an agreement and the contractual issues are settled? - Welcome to ams OSRAM! The time span between the second personal interview and the conclusion of the contract is usually one to two weeks.

Step 7

Onboarding

We look forward to welcoming you on your first day at work. With our onboarding measures we actively support you to quickly find your way in the ams OSRAM world. You will soon be able to concentrate fully on your new projects and tasks.
