Principal Engineer-System solution

Shenzhen (Guangdong Province), Shanghai (Shanghai)OSCN

Your tasks

-Product Definition (Analog/Mixed‑Signal Focus)

  • Translate customer and market requirements in areas like sensor interfaces, analog front ends (AFE), data converters (ADC/DAC), signal conditioning, mixed‑signal processing, and low‑power sensing systems into clear product specifications.
  • Develop reference architectures and system‑level concepts for new analog/mixed‑signal ICs and sensor solutions, such as signal‑chain modules, smart sensors, and integrated sensor subsystems.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define product feature sets, performance targets (noise, offset, drift, sampling rate, linearity, sensor dynamic range, etc.), and competitive positioning.
  • Perform system‑level analysis and tradeoff evaluations for sensing and mixed‑signal applications (power vs. noise, bandwidth vs. resolution, latency vs. accuracy, etc.).

-Customer Engagement

  • Act as a strategic technical interface with customers in sensor systems, industrial measurement, consumer sensing, automotive sensing, IoT devices, and mixed‑signal applications.
  • Provide pre‑sales technical support focusing on sensor signal‑chain solutions, mixed‑signal integration strategies, and analog subsystem requirements.
  • Gather customer insights and market trends—sensor technologies, analog performance demands, mixed‑signal integration directions—to shape future product definitions.
  • Deliver technical presentations, signal‑chain solution proposals, and system‑level demonstrations tailored to analog/mixed‑signal applications.

-System Solution Development

  • Build and validate end‑to‑end analog/mixed‑signal system solutions, including sensor interfaces, low‑noise signal paths, data-conversion chains, power conditioning, and mixed‑signal evaluation platforms.
  • Develop prototypes and system evaluation platforms demonstrating IC performance in real sensor environments (pressure, proximity, current/voltage sensing, MEMS sensors, environmental sensors, etc.).
  • Ensure smooth integration of new IC products into sensing systems, partnering closely with R&D to verify real‑world applicability.

-Cross‑Functional Collaboration

  • Work with analog/mixed‑signal design teams to ensure system requirements—noise, accuracy, dynamic range, timing, power—are correctly translated into design specifications.
  • Support marketing with competitive benchmarking in sensor ICs, analog signal chains, mixed‑signal SoCs, and sensor‑system solutions.
  • Contribute to technical collateral including application notes, sensor‑signal‑chain guides, reference designs, and system white papers.

-Internal & External Training

  • Provide training on analog front ends, sensor interfaces, mixed‑signal architectures, and system‑level design best practices.
  • Create high‑quality documentation highlighting system‑level benefits and use‑cases for analog/mixed‑signal ICs and sensing applications.

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, Analog IC Engineering, Mechatronics, or related fields.
  • at least 7 years related work experence
  • Solid understanding of analog circuits, mixed‑signal architectures, ADC/DAC fundamentals, sensor interfaces, and signal‑chain design.
  • Experience in applications engineering, system engineering, or product definition, preferably involving analog or mixed‑signal ICs and sensor products.
  • Strong analytical skills for system‑level evaluation (noise budgeting, filtering, sampling, linearity, timing).
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Preferred

  • Hands‑on experience with sensor systems, analog front-end design, mixed‑signal evaluation boards, and lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, network analyzers, precision measurement tools).
  • Familiarity with sensor physics (MEMS, temperature, pressure, current sensing, capacitive sensors, etc.) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of competitive products in the analog/mixed‑signal signal‑chain or sensor IC market.
  • Experience with data converters, low‑noise design, power management for sensors, or system modeling tools.

Soft Skills

  • Strong ownership and the ability to drive system‑level product concepts from idea to definition.
  • Customer‑centric mindset and strong problem‑solving skills.
  • Comfortable in fast‑moving environments with evolving requirements.
  • Strong ability to influence and collaborate across cross‑functional teams.
