Failure Analysis Staff Engineer

What we expect
- Start up of new Failure Analysis equipment and operation such as optical microscope, SEM EDX, FIB TEM according project timeline.
- Perform advanced failure analysis for chip-related production failures, new product reliability failures, and customer returns including technical consultancy, failure analysis report review and writing.
- Responsible for overall Front End (FE) failure analysis requests measurements, operation related issue, resources management and improvement per requirement.
- Support Project Teams with FA expertise and consultation, e.g. FA data interpretation, recommendation of proper analysis methods and solutions.
- Evaluation and implementation of new FA methods to support production improvement, task force and new product developments.
- Maintaining and continual improvement of Failure Analysis (FA) operation to ensure its efficiency and compliance.
- Involvement in laboratory sustaining activities provide technical advice and guidance to FA technicians.
Who we are looking for
- Master's Degree in Physics, Chemistry, Engineering (Electronics/Electrical/Materials) or higher.
- At least with 5 years experience in Advanced Failure Analysis of Optical Semiconductors, especially Focus Ion Beam (FIB) amp; Transmission electron microscopes (TEM).
- Experience with Semiconductor FA methods
- Experience in large scale projects is highly beneficial.
- Knowledge in Frontend (FE) technology and processing will be an advantage.
- Knowledge in Optical Semiconductors Failure Analysis.
- Highly organized, self-driven way of working.
- Excellent presentation, supervisory and multitasking skills.
- Experience with Quality tools such as FMEA, 8D is beneficial.
- Fluent English is mandatory (written and spoken)
- German is highly beneficial.
