Epitaxy Development Staff Engineer (InGaAlP)

What we expect
- Development of a new platform of epitaxy MOCVD epitaxy designs, growth processes and hardware targeting opto-electronic (micro;)LED applications based on InGaAlP/AlGaAs.
- On-site expert on phosphide epi development and responsible person for process transfer from RD to mass production in Malaysia.
- Technical lead for RD of phosphide epitaxy in Malaysia incl. collaboration in DOE planning and interpretation with interdisciplinary, multicultural teams of experts in modelling, epitaxy, front end chip processing and analytics.
- Design of epitaxial experiments and analysis of results to enable continuous improvement based on proven as well as on newly to be developed characterization techniques (e.g. micro;-PL, PL, microscopy, SEM, XRD, AFM, SIMS, etc.)
Who we are looking for
- Academic master's degree in physics, material science or similar (preferably with PhD).
- Relevant experience in area of III-V epitaxy, especially in the InGaAlP/AlGaAs material system using MOCVD reactors (preferably Aixtron vertical reactors) on a level of senior key experts and/or (senior) project managers.
- Sound competence in epitaxial processes with deep dive in device performance and characterization methods of cutting-edge (opto-)electronic semiconductor samples and devices
- Knowledge of LED manufacturing and interaction of epitaxial designs with frontend processes.
- Willing to work in international teams with traveling to Germany.
- Very good English skills mandatory (German would be a plus).
