Advanced Product Quality (APQ) Staff Engineer

What we expect
- Proactive involvement in quality issues related to New product Development, involving interaction with Product Development, Package Technology, Manufacturing; Customer Quality Management Locally and Globally (including Rbg, Wuxi, Kulim)
- Govern, contribute, collaborate & support New Product Quality and Reliability processes:-
- Upstream activities including Technical Risk Assessment, Requirement profile, Reliability Test requirement generation, Design FMEA , Process FMEA, Material Robustness, Design Robustness, Process Robustness, Lifetime Prediction
- Pre-series activities including Test Run, Safe Launch, Debugging, Reliability monitoring plan setup.
- Customer quality support activities including Customer Complaint, Internal and external 8D, RMA, PPCM, Risk assessment, Special Clearance, Shipment Halt and Release.
- Responsible for New product Reliability Qualification, Evaluation, Robustness (including Material, Design, Process robustness and Interaction study). Review and govern quality detection control documentation readiness & changes for new products (Failure Catalog, Control Plan, OCAP, Work Instruction, Buildsheet).
- Make sound decision on the required evaluation, pre production release reliabiltiy test run of the new product for particular risk assessment. Analyse & interpret FA observation report (provided by FA team), link to investigation hypothesis and lead to root cause identification.
- Setup Outgoing QA Buyoff and drive team to resolve OQA rejects in reducing escapee to customer. Run internal line audit / Genba for the new process and line setup, in assessing both line and system readiness prior series production.
- Support new product customer audit preparation, audit day execution and post audit AFI closure. Provide guidance and support to internal QM partner & external stake holders on product reliability and IQE processes.
- Conduct internal training session on IQE core competency related topics. Support continuous improvement projects to drive IQE operation excellence.
Who we are looking for
- Min degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
- Min 5 yrs of experience/ leading in QM (IQE, PQE, SQE, QMS etc) or working in business segment/ technical functions in semiconductor industry
- Min 5 years of experience interfacing with several functions (eg R&D, AE, Project Management)
- Skilled in Project Management, Statistics, Reliability Engineering, Failure Analysis, 6 sigma/ lean, Quality Tools
- Min 3 yrs exp with exposure to people mgmt.
- Ability to work with international / intercultural team.
