Warehouse Operations Manager - 3rd shift

The warehouse operations manager is responsible for daily operations and supporting functions. This primarily involves assigning work to direct report associates who complete the daily workload and thus satisfy our customers’ needs. Supporting functions include inventory control and import/export compliance. The work environment is time-bound and fast-paced.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Support and enforce policies and standards of the Hillsboro plant.
• Maintain a high level of communication with warehouse management, the supply chain leadership team, internal customers, and external suppliers, to ensure expected service levels.
• Promote and maintain the internal work environment culture that is candid and focused on safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost control.
• Provide direction, evaluation, discipline, empowerment, development, and support, to direct report associates.
• Safety – provide and promote a safe work environment.
• Initiate and implement continuous improvement activities.
• Training – process, systems, powered industrial equipment.
• Contribute to cross-functional teams.
• Achieve and maintain a Powered Industrial Equipment license.
• Other duties as assigned.
