The Image Sensor Solutions business aims to become the uncontested leader in optical imaging solutions extending human vision. ISS products are mainly produced in Austria and Singapore.

Your new responsibilities

  • As the Analog Design Team Manager, you will lead the analog section of a talented imager sensor IC design team leading the next generation cutting edge imaging focused on AR and robotics. Under your leadership the team will define, model, design, layout, and integrate complex stacked mixed signal IC’s with integrated custom pixel IP, and camera digital algorithms. This exciting role brings the opportunity to create innovative solutions to customer problems and to deliver highly differentiated products.
  • Lead the analog/mixed design team to develop and design best-in-class stacked BSI global-shutter CMOS Image Sensors
  • Leading analog block design activities including feasibility studies and competitive analysis
  • Own analog design and development, from concept phase to post-silicon optimization; work closely with the test team to develop test plans for silicon evaluation to ensure high-quality execution
  • Coordinate with a global, multi-disciplinary team (Analog, Layout, Digital, Architecture, DV, Test/Char) to ensure successful cross-team engagement and high-quality execution
  • Contributing to the Analog R&D Roadmap planning, execution, and specialized IP
  • Drive chip product definition and circuit architecture
  • Develop workflows and methodology that improve efficiency and quality of execution
  • Continuously improve circuit design and verification flows to advance cycle time, performance, power, and reliability.

What we look for

  • Bachelors' degree in Electrical Engineering or relevant degree along with 15+ years of industry experience
  • 10+ or more years of successful technical management experience
  • Direct experience designing and bringing into mass production analog IC circuits/chips on plan
  • Knowledge of low-power techniques with application in CMOS processes
  • Advanced understanding of system specification and ability to work with marketing and system/application engineers to translate system requirements into circuit requirements at the IC level
  • Understanding of device noise, mismatch, linearity, and other analog impairments
  • Experience in Si issue characterization, isolation, and debug
  • Understanding of DFT and DFM techniques for mass production environment

  • Ability to work in teams (local, national, and international)
  • Strong problem solving skills, innovative and can-do mind-set; passion for new challenges

  • Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships

Chronological order of the steps of your application

You haven't yet been able to find a suitable position and would like to submit an unsolicited application? – Then just create your candidate profile on our Applicant Portal. We can send you job alerts to inform you of positions which match your profile. You just have to enter the relevant information in the boxes provided. While creating your profile, you'll be asked about “job-specific preferences”. Here you can define the job families or jobs you’re interested in, as well as your preferred locations. And once you’ve saved your profile, we suggest suitable positions as soon as these become available.

2. Online application

Just register on our Applicant Portal. Afterwards, we provide you with your login data. In the application form, you just have to fill out a small number of boxes. In addition, this is where you can upload important documents such as a cover letter, your CV and work references/certificates/school reports. Please make sure that you have the most important application documents ready and prepared. 3. Telephone interview

4. Your first face-to-face interview

You’ve sparked our interest! Now we’d like to get to know you in person and invite you for a first face-to-face interview. This is when your prospective future manager and the recruiter are available for you to discuss opportunities for you at ams OSRAM, as well as your competencies and professional experience. You can of course also ask questions about the job, the team, and ams OSRAM. Make sure that you are well prepared for the upcoming interview: You should be able to tell us why you’d like to join ams OSRAM and why you’re the ideal candidate. The first face-to-face interview usually takes place one or two weeks after the telephone interview.

5. Your second face-to-face interview

If we both agree that the first interview went well, you'll be placed on a shortlist. The second interview usually takes place two weeks after the first face-to-face interview.

6. Hiring
